Bitcoin! It has tried to hate on Mpesa which is unfortunate.
Mpesa is like Magic to those in Business like me. I have been in Business Before Mpesa and I am still in it with Mpesa. Mpesa could possibly work best for business if allows business to have larger daily transactions. This is ALL that is missing. Otherwise Mpesa is a Great asset to my business. I transact close to 98% of my business on Mpesa!
Bitcoin is still an unknown to Kenyans! 99.999% of Kenyans have NEVER HEARD of Bitcoin. It is going to change though and it is changing one Bitcoin Wallet after another mainly from www.37coins.com and www.bitx.com ..... http://www.pesamob.com has adopted Bitcoin and with over 800 members and growing, we intend to get the Bitcoin message out as quickly as our network will allow.
Personally, I believe this is a quick way to spread the Bitcoin message across to the masses. When they earn Bitcoins, they have no choice BUT to cash them etc.
Bitcoin is going to change lives BUT it will work hand in hand with Mpesa to do this. Without Mpesa, it will struggle or infact fail. It may eventually beat Mpesa as it removes ALL the drawbacks of mpesa!
